Scrap metal stolen in Schuylkill County

State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of scrap metal from a Schuylkill County site.

Troopers said the incident occurred at a Reading Anthracite power substation located at the intersection of Peach Mountain and Wade roads in Norwegian Township. Several pieces of bare copper wire and insulators were stolen sometime between Aug. 9 and 15.
