Driver escapes injuries in Monroe crash

Donna Pastor of Stroudsburg escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 2:41 a.m. Dec. 5 on Burger Hollow Road in Monroe County, state police at the Lehighton barracks said.

Police said she was driving a 2014 Nissan Rogue northbound, near Short Ridge Drive, when she lost control of the vehicle while trying to negotiate a right-hand curve on the snow-covered highway. Police said the car struck a utility pole on the left side of the roadway, causing disabling damages.
