Two vehicles damaged in Penn Forest crash

State police at Lehighton said two vehicles were damaged in a crash at 4:51 p.m. Aug. 23 at the intersection of Route 903 and the Maury Road in Penn Forest Township.

Police said the driver of a 2017 Ford Escape that was eastbound on the Maury Road attempted to make a left-hand turn without clearance from both directions and the vehicle struck a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban.

The names of the drivers have not been released.
