Schuylkill driver in Lehigh crash

A Schuylkill County driver was cited for a crash in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said the crash occurred at11:38 a.m. on Aug. 14 at the intersection of Kressler Road and Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township.

Troopers said Jennifer C. McLaughlin, 47, of Center Valley, was driving a 2018 Buick Encore southbound on Kressler Road and going through the intersection while Frances T. Hendricks, 82, of Orwigsburg, was northbound on Kressler Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Hamilton Boulevard without safely and properly yielding the right-of-way.

McLaughlin’s vehicle struck Hendricks’ vehicle on the passenger side rear door with the front bumper of her vehicle.

No one was injured.

Hendericks was cited for not obeying traffic control signals.
