Schuylkill Personnel Changes

During a workshop meeting last week, the Schuylkill County Commissioners approved a contract addendum for county court reporter Laura M. Baranko, who’s been with the county since 2013. The provision for a flat fee of $1,200 for five full days in one week was removed, but the other terms ($150 for half day and $325 for full day) will remain unchanged.

During the board’s regular meeting Wednesday, the commissioners approved wage adjustments, and the same contract addendum, for the county’s court reporters. Chief court reporter Jennifer McGrath, Gordon, will be paid $31.37 per hour. Susan Grube, Orwigsburg and Nanette Ketrick, Deer Lake, will be paid a $37.21 hourly rate, per diem, with no benefits. Rosita DeCarlo, Ashland, will be paid $27.55 per hour and Denise Donlin, Auburn, will be paid $23.53 per hour.

In other personnel changes, the commissioners approved the appointment of James O’Neill, Wayne Township, as Social Services Aide 2, at $13.31 per hour. Pearl Robertson, Pottsville, was appointed to Drug & Alcohol Case Management Specialist at a rate of $17.72 per hour.
