Student conducts scientific research

Kaitlyn Gardineer, of Walnutport, performed research this summer at Susquehanna University.

The research Gardineer conducted, supervised by Dr. Dan Ressler, concerned water conservation and restoration practices.

Susquehanna’s distinctive Summer Research Partners program is a professional-level opportunity for students to actively participate in a research project on a full-time basis. Faculty members serve as mentors to the students, working one-on-one or in small groups, creating a lively, engaged community of learners.

Gardineer, an earth and environmental sciences, German and studio arts major in the Class of 2021, is a 2017 graduate of Northampton Area High School and is the daughter of Joy Gardineer.
