Case of missing Luzerne man turned into homicide investigation

The case of a missing Luzerne County man has now turned into a homicide investigation.

Pennsylvania State Police, Wyoming barracks, have developed additional information on William Morse, of Sugarloaf.

State police on Wednesday executed a sealed search warrant at Morse’s home at 170 Hollow Road, Sugarloaf Township, on Wednesday.

Based on information received, state police have deployed multiple investigative teams to other undisclosed locations in the southern Luzerne County area.

One of the last places Morse was seen was at the unveiling of the pedestrian bridge in Jim Thorpe 15 months ago.
