JT’s Rosenberger named LCCC Athlete of the Week

Jim Thorpe graduate Mackenzie Rosenberger recently was named the Cougar Athlete of the Week at Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Rosenberger had 39 kills and 13 aces over four games during the week of Sept. 2-8. The sophomore had a season-high 16 kills against Luzerne County on Sept. 5.

The Cougars posted a 2-2 record during the stretch.

Rosenberger’s 42 kills and 37 digs on the season lead the team.

Also contributing to the LCCC team is Lehighton graduate Erika Cruver, who has eight kills, 22 digs, and leads the team in assists with 58.
