Road work this week

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has scheduled the following roadwork this week, weather permitting:

Carbon County

• Banks and Packer townships: Spring Mountain Road between Route 93 and Quakake Road, shoulder Work; lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Mahoning Township: Hemlock Drive/Packerton Dam Road, between routes 209 and 902; pothole patching; lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

• Parryville Borough and Lower Towamensing Township: Route 248, between Centre Street and Club Road, median repair, lane restrictions on Route 248 east and west, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Route 248 between Route 209 and Northampton County line; pothole patching, lane restrictions in both directions, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Lehigh County

• Whitehall and Hanover Townships: Route 22 between Route 145 (MacArthur Road/Seventh Street) and Route 987/Airport Road; Lane restrictions in both directions, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

• Upper Saucon Township: Interstate 78 West, between Northampton County line and Exit 49 (Route 100), sporadic lane and shoulder restrictions. Watch for stopped traffic and use caution when traveling in the work zone, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Lynn Township: Route 309 between Route 873 and Schuylkill County line, lane restriction between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

Monroe County

• Hamilton Township: Route 209 between Lesh Lane and Route 33, lane restrictions, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Interstate 80: Between Exit 284 (Route 115) and Exit 310 (Route 611), pothole patching, lane restriction in both directions, 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

• I-80 East: between Exit 302 (Route 611) and Exit 307 (Route 611 to Route 191), Pothole Patching, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Northampton County

• Lower Saucon Township and City of Bethlehem: I-78 West, Exit 71 (Route 33) and Exit 67 (Route 412, lane restriction for concrete patching, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Palmer Township: Route 22 West, between 25th Street and Route 33, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.

• Lower Saucon Township: I-78 East between: Exit 60 (Route 309) and Exit 67 (Route 412), restriction eastbound, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.

• Bethlehem Township: I-78 between Exit 60 (Route 309) and Exit 75 (To Route 611), Shoulder restriction, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; Route 22 West, between 25th Street and Route 33, westbound lane restriction, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; Route 22 East, Route 33 and 25th Street, Eastbound lane restriction, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.

• Easton: Route 22 Ramps at 13th Street, between Fourth Street and Route 248; daily ramp closures with detours for work related to the ongoing 13th Street bridge project. Detours will utilize Route 22 to the Fourth Street or 25th street exits, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Schuylkill County

• Frailey Township: I-81, between: Exit 107 (Route 209) and Exit 112 (Route 25), lane restriction on I-81 north and south for work on a bridge over Reading Blue Mountain Rail Road, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday.

• Butler and New Castle Townships: I-81, between: Exit 119 (Highridge Park Road) and Exit 124 (Route 61), single lane on I-81 north and south from 6 a.m. Tuesday through noon Friday. Expect delays.

• Kline Township, Route 309, between: Lofty Road and Fairview Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
