Summit Hill’s Bill Black Park will be brought back to life, thanks to a $10,000 state recreation grant presented by state Rep. Keith McCall.

McCall and borough officials gathered at the Summit Hill Borough Hall last week to formally receive the check that will bring new equipment to the park for youngsters.

Summit Hill Mayor William O’Gurek pointed out McCall has always come through for the community when grant funds are needed, while recreation director Georgianne Davis praised the legislator for obtaining the funds that will be used to purchase new equipment, resurface the grounds and prune the trees.
