Alzheimer's caregivers

The Alzheimer Caregiver Support Group at Blue Mountain Health System meets monthly from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the third-floor conference room at the Palmerton campus, 135 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. The next meeting is Dec. 26.

Donna Kravelk, a registered nurse on the Older Adult Behavioral Health Unit at BMHS, will facilitate the group, which provides emotional, educational and social support for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.

Meetings are free. Anyone seeking support and knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia are welcome. To register, or for more information, email Kravelk at dmkatz407@verizon.net or call 610-826-1294.
