Roadwork this week
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work for this week:
Carbon County
• Jim Thorpe: Route 903/North Street between 10th Street and 13th St., pothole patching, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.
• Beaver Meadows: Route 93/Berwick Street between Berwick Street, and Luzerne County line, pothole patching, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
• Lehigh Township: Lehigh Gorge Drive between Buck Mountain Road and Rockport Road, drainage, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
• Jim Thorpe: Route 209/Catawissa Street between Route 93 and Route 903, pothole repair, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
• Mahoning: Mill Road between Route 443 and Route 902, drainage, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
• Bowmanstown: East White Street between Route 248 and Route 895, shoulder widening, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
• Franklin: Route 209/Interchange Road at Cherry Hill Road, shoulder work/widening, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.
• Palmerton: Delaware Avenue between Route 248 and Mauch Chunk Road, shoulder widening, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
• Lehighton: Route 443/Blakeslee Blvd between Route 209 and Ben Salem Road, bridge repair, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
• Parryville: Route 248 West between Club Road and Center Street, median repair, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
Lehigh County
• Whitehall: Route 145/MacArthur Road between Grape Street and Mechanicsville Road, lane work, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday.
• Upper Macungie: Interstate 78 between Exit 60 (Route 309) and Exit 49 (Route 100), 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
• Heidelberg Township: Memorial Road between Route 309 and Bake Oven Road, brush cutting, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday through Friday.
• Upper Macungie: Trexlertown Road between Ruppsville Road and Route 222, crack sealing, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.
• Upper Macungie Tilghman Street between Snowdrift Road and Route 309, Crack Sealing, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday.
• South Whitehall Township Route 309 at Route Turnpike Overpass between Chapmans Road and Huckleberry Road, bridge repair, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
• Hanover Township: Route 22 East at Airport Road, construction, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday.
Monroe County
• Multiple townships: Interstate 80 Ramps East/West between: Exit 284 (Route 115) and Exit 310 (Route 611), pothole patching, 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. on Sunday through Friday.
• Hamilton Township: Route 33 between Saylorsburg Exit and Northampton County Line, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.
Northampton County
• Easton: Route 22 East, between 13th Street and New Jersey State Line, ramp closed for milling and paving, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.
• Lower Nazareth/Palmer/Upper Nazareth: Route 33 North between Hecktown Road and Belfast Road, milling and paving, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday through Wednesday.
• Bethlehem Township: Route 33 South between Hecktown Road and US 22, milling and paving, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday.
• Bethlehem: Broadway between Route 378 and Fiot Street, milling and paving, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
• Lower Saucon, City of Bethlehem, Bethlehem Township, Williams Township; Interstate 78 between Exit 60 (Route 309) and Exit 75 (To Route 611), highway beautification, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday.
Schuylkill County
• Butler and New Castle townships: Interstate 81 between Exit 119 (Highridge Park Road) and Exit 124 (Route 61), construction, 6 a.m. to noon on Monday through Friday.
• Delano Township: Interstate 81 between Exit 134 (Delano) and Exit 138 (Route 309), inspection, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.
• Butler / Foster townships: Interstate 81 between Exit 119 (Highridge) and Exit 112 (Hegins), pothole patching, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday.
• Blythe / Ryan townships: Route1006 between Morea Road and Peach Mountain Road, highway beautification, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
