Bowmanstown’s two water reservoirs being constructed in the northwest section of the community are 75% completed, according to Russell Neal, borough engineer, who disclosed this information at last night’s meeting of the borough council.
Neal said workers are ready to install a roof on the pump house at one of the 75,000-gallon reservoirs. Work on the other pump house is expected to start next week.
The reservoirs, expected to greatly increase the borough’s water supply, are being built at a total cost of $26,485 by Bollinger Brothers Excavating and Grading Contractors, Palmerton R.2.
