Schuylkill man airlifted after stabbing

A 26-year-old man from Porter Township, Schuylkill County, was transported by helicopter to the Hershey Medical Center after he was stabbed in the shoulder by an assailant between 3 and 3:30 a.m. Oct. 6 in Tower City.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said the incident took place outside “The Garage,” a bar located at 341 E. Grand Ave.

Police said an unknown man produced a large knife and stabbed the victim before fleeing in an unknown direction and by an unknown means.
