Jim Thorpe continued its winning ways with a rout of Lourdes over the weekend.
Elsewhere, Fleetwood topped Panther Valley in the finals at Pottsville’s volleyball tournament, while Notre Dame rallied past Tamaqua in girls soccer action.
GIRLS SOCCER
Lourdes-Jim Thorpe
Jim Thorpe extended its winning streak to three games with an 11-0 non-league win over Lourdes.
Heidi Washel, Nicole Carroll and Maddy Edwards each had a hat trick for the Olympians (10-6-1). Lauren LeKites scored twice, including her 20th goal of the season.
Kate Bos made three saves to record her eighth shutout of the season.
Notre Dame-Tamaqua
Notre Dame-GP rallied for a 4-3 double overtime victory against Tamaqua in non-league action.
The Crusaders scored the final three goals, with Olivia Shollenberger’s second of the game providing the difference in the second overtime.
Helina Macchia also scored in the second half for Notre Dame, while Adeline-Rose Weidner found the back of the net in the first half.
Goals from Rebekah Hromyak, Sarah McCabe and Emma Kuczynski gave the Raiders a 3-1 advantage in the first half. Kuczynski, Hromyak and Katelyn Rudy all had assists for Tamaqua (11-7). Baylee Reinhardt and Zoe Seltzer combined to make 17 saves.

Panther Valley at Pottsville Tourney
Fleetwood topped Panther Valley in the finals of the Pottsville Tournament.
The Panthers went 6-2 in pool play before beating Garden Spot in the quarterfinals and topping Blue Mountain in the semis.
Jenna Dubosky had 34 kills, 30 assists and 13 aces for Panther Valley. Erika Dubosky recorded 21 digs, 15 kills, 11 aces and 10 blocks, Olivia Dacey tallied 18 kills and 12 digs, and Lyddia Malaska finished with 20 digs and three aces.
