Lansford woman charged with burglary

A Lansford  woman faces multiple charges after breaking into a home.

Victoria A. Argott, 40, is charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, public drunkenness and criminal trespass stemming from an Oct. 3 incident.

Police were dispatched to Hazle Street for a breaking and entering in progress. Police were met by the homeowner, whose children were upstairs at the time. She told police that she did not know Argott, but she was upstairs in her house.

Police went upstairs and found the other homeowner holding down Argott. Argott was taken into custody while wearing the homeowners’ clothing. She said she was “drugged.”
