Over $17,000 in items stolen
Over $17,000 worth of items were stolen in a Carbon County burglary.
State police at Lehighton said the break-in occurred at a residence along West Lizard Creek Road in East Penn Township, sometime between Oct. 15 and 18. Trooper said a detached barn/garage was entered. No forced entry was observed.
Among the items taken were a Power King tractor, Kubota tractor, Kubota front end loader, accessories for mowers and tractors, various power tools such as chain saws, and a compressor.
The total estimated value of the items was set at $17,725. The listed victims are a 91-year-old man from Lehighton and a 59-year-old man from Ashfield.
