Woman facing McAdoo drug charges

Stacey Hunsinger, 43, of Kelayres, is facing drug charges filed by McAdoo police after a traffic stop at 7:26 p.m. Nov. 23 on South Hancock Street in McAdoo.

Police said she was a passenger in the vehicle driven by an unidentified man.

After the stop, police said they detected strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Hunsinger admitted to having a bowl in her coat pocket. The bowl had residue in it.

Police searched Hunsinger's purse and found a plastic bag that contained methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia.

Police learned there was an outstanding warrant issued in Delaware County for Hunsinger's arrest.
