Williamsport man facing drug charges

Darrell Anthony Walker, 42, of Williamsport, is facing drug-related charges as a result of a traffic stop made by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks on Interstate 80 at 10:42 a.m. Dec. 3.

Police said he was stopped at westbound mile marker 274 in East Side borough, Carbon County, for a window tint violation, after which time police observed multiple indicators of criminal activity.

Police said Walker had approximately 25 grams of suspected cocaine, and they found a small amount of marijuana when they searched the vehicle.

Police said Walker was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and other related charges.
