Nesquehoning celebrates Halloween
The Nesquehoning Community Events Committee held its second annual trunk or treat event on the grounds of Nesquehoning Hose Company Saturday night. Approximately 600 children and their families attended, while nearly 40 residents, businesses, nonprofits and other borough organizations set up trunks and displays to hand out candy. There was food donated by Roadie’s Bar and Restaurant in Jim Thorpe, Meed’s Memorial, food trucks and more, as well as DJ Ronnie Yuricheck of Summit Hill. The event was made possible through various donations from the community.
