Thunderstorms, high winds moving through area
A line of showers and thunderstorms will pass through the region tonight with the potential for damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m., then a slight chance of showers between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 40. Breezy, with a south wind 17 to 20 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 51. West wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 30. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 50. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. Light and variable wind becoming west around 6 mph after midnight.
