Man cited for road-rage incident
A Slatington man has been cited for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief for a road-rage incident on Tuesday.
Lehigh Township Police said Shawn Rice, 25, was operating a dark-colored Ford pickup truck at 8:45 p.m. when he stopped his vehicle on Route 248 at the intersection of Mountain View Drive.
At that time, police said Rice got out of his truck and began yelling at the vehicle behind him for tailgating.
Police said Rice then punched the side view mirror of the vehicle, causing damage.
He then got back into his vehicle and left the area, police said.

How about doing some traffic patrol along the roads of our township.
The PASP are conducting a crackdown on things like tailgating, speeding, and careless driving. How about my police department do the same?
I am daily pushed along from behind, by people who desire my vehicle to go 10 MPH over posting. They tailgate, they pass in no passing zones, they run red lights...
Go easy on Sean, and get to the root of the problem.
We give you cars and manpower, let's get more ticketing for a return... simple.

Shawn hooked up for service in our Military. Seems like he would be a good fighter. I too get sick of tailgaters locally and on the interstates. Going 80 and right up your butt.
And yes I know about staying in the right lane.
