Pocono Garden Club to Meet Nov. 12

Card and tag creations using garden and floral photographs will be the subject of the annual November crafts project when the Pocono Garden Club meets at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Monroe County Conservation District, 8050 Running Valley Road, in Bartonsville.

Club members Joyce Love, Sue Loebsack and JoAnn Argonna will present the craft project. Cards will be used for club Cheerio greetings. Members are encouraged to bring printed photos taken in their gardens or of their houseplants or floral designs.

Participation is encouraged in the monthly design exhibit, titled “Thanks to Giving,” a stretch design using pumpkins to gourds with fresh flowers. Accessory is permitted. The horticultural entry would be a collection of berries, dried grasses and pods. The houseplant entry would be a flowering Christmas cactus.

Please bring in your entries 30 minutes before the start of the meeting. Everyone interested in gardening is welcome to attend. Refreshments are served.
