Carbon County Commissioners

The Carbon County Commissioners acted on the following items last week.

• Approved the reappointment of Earl Henninger of Summit Hill to another five-year term on the Parks and Recreation Commission. The term will expire Dec. 31, 2024.

• Approved the 2019-2020 grant-in-aid award from the Juvenile Court Judges’ Commission for salary reimbursement for the juvenile court office for the term of July 1 through June 30, 2020. The estimated revenue is $69,300.

• Approved the retirement of Ann S. Schlough of Lehighton, director/computer systems for the court computer information systems, effective Dec. 2; and Connie M. Lynn of Lehighton, aging care manager supervisor II, Area Agency on Aging, effective Nov. 6.
