Northwestern boys, girls grab wins

Northwestern came away with wins in boys and girls basketball in scholastic sports action on Wednesday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Northwestern-Catasauqua

Northwestern trumped Catasauqua in a Colonial League contest, 67-39.

Brady Mengel shot the lights out for the Tigers. The senior tallied 30 points and eight three-pointers. During the game, he set the single season Northwestern three-point record.

Dustin Snyder added in 15 points during the rout.

Shaquan Mason was Catasauqua's leading scorer with 14 points.
