Police respond to Palmerton school for vaping, harassment investigations
State police at Lehighton responded to Palmerton Area School District’s secondary campus along Fireline Road in Lower Towamensing Township on Thursday for vaping and harassment investigations.
Trooper Anthony Kingsley, the investigating officer, said several students were caught vaping in a school bathroom. The incident, he added, was ultimately handled within the school.
Kingsley also reported a 13-year-old student was, “making threats toward an unknown person in a Snapchat group chat, which led to concern within the school district.”
