Man killed when large tree branch falls on him
An Alburtis man was died after he was struck by a tree branch on his son’s property in New Tripoli.
The Lehigh County coroner said Mark Garvey, 68, was pronounced dead at 12:41 p.m. Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
The cause of death is blunt force trauma to the head. The manner of death is accident.
Earlier in the morning, at approximately 10 a.m., Garvey was struck by a large branch while cutting a tree on his son’s property, located on Gun Club Road, New Tripoli.
