At the annual Christmas dinner of the New Columbus Fire Company Auxiliary, its officers presented a check for $10,000 to the fire company to help pay costs associated with the newly built truck garage, as well as landscaping expenses.

President Gerry McConnon, Vice President Liz Mele, Treasurer Audrey Damiano and secretary Mary Lukca presented the check, which represents proceeds from the women’s monthly hoagie sales and other fundraisers.

Accepting the gift were NCFC Fire Chief and Treasurer Jim Nardozzi and Vice President Mike Matalone. The company’s president is Dave Chapman.
