Carbon man facing charges in Monroe

A Carbon County man is facing drug charges in Monroe County.

State police at Stroudsburg said on Nov. 29 about 11:34 a.m. troopers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance along Sellersville Drive in Middle Smithfield Township. On scene troopers made contact with a 37-year-old man from Lansford, who they declined to identify. He was found to be under the influence and in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was placed under arrest and transported to the county prison in Snydersville for processing and later released.
