ASSEMBLING THE ICE RINK
Dave Gasker and Bill Solomon put together the sides of the ice rink at Sam Miller Field. About 10 people volunteered their time to clear snow and install the rink Monday. Volunteers raised money for the 40-by-60-foot expandable rink with rounded corners. Once the rink is in place, it will be filled with 10,000 gallons of water to be frozen.
