A look back: Jan. 14, 1963

Installation of consistory members was held at the morning worship service yesterday in Zion United Church of Christ, Lehighton.

Edward Christman, Gordon Hontz and Frank Eisenhard were installed as elders, and Earl Thomas, Gordon Ripkey, Martin Coome, Karl Hinkle, Ronald Alger and Carl Hochberg were ordained and installed as deacons.

Also serving on the consistory are Albert Frantz, Herman Hartman and Robert Frable as elders and Lewis Fritzinger, Dr. Serge Grynkewich, Ralph Hunsicker, Donald Roth, Roy Blight and Norman Arener.

Hartman is the president; the Rev. Alton M. Leister, vice president; Frable, secretary and alternate delegate; Eisenhard, treasurer; and Hontz, delegate.
