Schuylkill man facing assault count
A Schuylkill County man is facing a charge of assault with bodily injury following an incident that occurred at 11 p.m. Jan. 4.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said troopers were dispatched to Route 61 and Coal Mountain Road, in West Brunswick Township, for a report of a woman running south on 61 screaming at passing motorists. Upon arrival it was determined by troopers that the incident was a domestic dispute with the woman, a 41-year-old from Northampton, sustaining injuries. She was transported by a EMS unit for treatment.
As a result troopers said Larry Keiser, 53, of Orwigsburg, was charged.
