Palmerton approves coaches

Palmerton Area School District’s board of directors took the following actions on coaches during its meeting last week:

• approved Alfredo Ortiz as head middle school football coach at $2,689, Chris Frace as assistant middle school football coach at $2,039, and Matt Guedes as assistant middle school football coach at $2,039.

• approved Tyler Svetik as head middle school cross country coach at 2,689.

• approved James Denaro as a volunteer softball coach.

• approved Kris Hoffner moving from a volunteer track coach to a half-stipend assistant track coach at $1,331 for the 2019-20 school year.
