Monroe man wanted since 2014 is caught
A Monroe County man, who has been wanted on a warrant since 2014, was apprehended by Pocono Mountain Regional police.
Police said they received an anonymous tip regarding the whereabouts of Michael James King of Tobyhanna. Police previously were told that King was observed operating a white Ford Ranger pickup and frequenting the Route 195 corridor.
At 8:09 p.m. n Dec. 29, police observed the Ranger pull into a driveway across from Renaissance Lane, where King was reportedly staying. A traffic stop was made and King was identified as the driver and taken into custody.
Police said King has been wanted for failure to appear at the county probation office for supervision on two counts of driving under the influence.
