Dirty plants

Published January 02. 2016 09:00AM

Nesquehoning should be called The Dirty Harry of the Valley.

Any dirty plant to be out there finds its way to Nesquehoning.

Back in the late '70s and '80s Tonolli with its lead batteries leaving toxic waste behind. More to date, Liquid Fence with its rotten-egg smell to greet residents of Nesquehoning. Now two medical waste dumps with who knows what.

Saturday's Times News, Dec. 26, with Panther Creek (coal generation plant) wants to burn tires. What will be next?

God bless Nesquehoning.
