Proud of West Penn police

Dear Editor,

In regards to this situation with our West Penn Police Department with Sgt. Melissa Ruch, I'm very proud of our township police from Chief Johnson to all our officers.

I live in West Penn and I am a health care provider. I always see West Penn on patrol, whether it's 2 p.m. or 2 a.m., and I feel very safe.

A lot of people have their opinions of Sgt. Ruch, but I was not there, and neither was anyone else. Those who want to judge her and our police, remember what our Lord said: "He who has not sin let them cast the first stone."

All of us, including myself, have done things we are not proud of, but our faults weren't publicized. I am very proud of our township police, as well as other residents who feel the same.

To all the haters out there, look in your own backyard before you say something about someone else. Thank you and God bless West Penn Police!
