Firearm found along Schuylkill road

A firearm was found along a Schuylkill County road and the owner is being sought.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a case containing a firearm was found near the center lane of Route 183 in Wayne Township, about noon on Thursday. Troopers said the firearm appears to be the type used for hunting.
