Husband arrested in Tobyhanna incident

Pocono Mountain Regional Police arrested Buddy J. Brenneise, 50, ofSheridan Drive, Tobyhanna, on charges of simple assault and harassment after they were called to his residence for a domestic disturbance at 11:17 p.m. Saturday.

Police said that upon arrival, a woman inside the residence said her husband, Brenneise, had broken numerous items inside the home, assaulted her and threatened to kill her. Police said they observed broken items inside the home and injuries to the woman.

The defendant was arrested and committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville.
