Palmerton police log

Palmerton Police Department continues to investigate the following incidents:

Charges were filed against Michael Cardone, 29, of Lehighton, for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and false identification to law enforcement. The incident occurred on Nov. 22 in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.

Charges were filed against Jeffrey Boyer, 51, of New Ringgold, for public drunkenness, possession of drug paraphernalia, and prohibitions of alcoholic beverage. The incident occurred on Dec. 20 in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.

Shelly Shook, 50, of Walnutport, was charged with possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were also filed against Darrell Hull, 44, of Walnutport, for possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred on Dec. 11 in the 600 block of Lehigh Avenue and Sixth Street.

Jeffrey Hawk, 36, of Palmerton, was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police officers, driving under suspension, registration and certificate of title required, required financial responsibility, operation of vehicle without official certificate of inspection, and speeding. The incident occurred on Dec. 9 on Third Street.

Charges were filed against Clifford Diefenderfer, 39, of Palmerton, for simple assault and harassment. The incident occurred on Dec. 19 in the 500 block of Franklin Avenue.

Walter Lopez, 26, of Palmerton was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. The incident occurred on Dec. 28 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

Charges were filed against Christopher Fischer, 30, of Palmerton, for retail theft. The incident occurred on Dec. 27 in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.

Tyler Hackman, 25, of Palmerton, was cited for retail theft. The violation occurred on Jan. 2 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Police also issued seven citations for vehicle violations, four for traffic violations, and three for speeding violations.
