Woman seen stealing six Hershey bars
A Tamaqua woman has been charged with stealing six Hershey bars from a convenience store on Jan. 5.
Tonya Nicole Braun, 24, of 407 Willing St., Tamaqua, entered Our Family Mini Mart, 401 W. Broad St., at 10 a.m. She went to the candy aisle, took six Hershey bars, then hid the candy in her shirtsleeves before walking out the front door.
The theft was witnessed by an employee and captured on surveillance video.
Braun will receive a citation for retail theft.
