Man jailed after threatening to kill men repossessing his camper

When two men attempted to repossess a camper from a Norwegian Township residence in Schuylkill County,the property owner threatened to kill them.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said Charles C. Morris, 58, of Pottsville, was later apprehended, charged and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville, in lieu of $25,000 bail.

He is charged with terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault.

Police said when the two men went to repossess the camper at Morris' property, he approached them and displayed a pistol, threatening to shoot and kill both victims.

Police said Morris pointed the gun at the abdomen of one man while threatening to kill him, and then put the pistol on the left eye ofthe other, threatening to blow his head off.

Police said both men were able to get away from Morris, who was taken into custody at his residence.
