'Singin' in the Rain' at the Pines Dinner Theatre

The Pines Dinner Theatre, 448 N 17th St, Allentown, will present "Singin' in the Rain" July 9 through Aug. 21. The musical is adapted from the screenplay and includes all of the songs from the movie, as well as an onstage rainstorm.

"Singin' in the Rain" stars Ryan J. Skerchak as Don Lockwood, Amber Blatt as Kathy Seldon, Matt Sweeney as Cosmo Brown, and Emily Levan as Lina Lamont.

This production marks the culmination of the seventh summer season since the Pines moved to the West End of Allentown. Featuring over 20 different settings, "Singin' in the Rain" is the biggest and most challenging production the Pines Dinner Theatre has mounted.

Evening performances (6:30 p.m. for dinner with an 8 p.m. show start) are Fridays and Saturdays; matinees (12:30 p.m. for dinner and a 2 p.m. show start) are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
