Three facing theft charges in Rush

Rush Township police are preparing to file charges in a number of shoplifting incidents that took place at the HT Commons Walmart in recent days.

A 17-year-old Lansford male will be charged with retail theft after he took merchandise, valued at $34.60, from the store on Jan. 12.

On Jan. 14, Brian C. Creamer Jr., 27, of Trenton took goods valued at $149.67. He will be charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.

William G. Manness Jr., 34, of Tamaqua, entered the store on Jan. 15 and took merchandise valued at $67.72. He will be charged with retail theft.
