Caregiver charged with stealing
A McAdoo woman is facing charges after she took advantage of her elderly employer.
McAdoo police were notified of the thefts by the victim's daughter, who received notice from First National Bank that 15 checks cashed between Oct. 1 and Nov. 15, 2015, were deemed suspicious. After checking her mother's finances it was determined that several of the checks were actually cashed while the victim was in the hospital.
