Lansford woman charged with possession

A Lansford woman has been charged for having drugs during a traffic stop in Summit Hill.

According to borough police, officers on patrol around 10 p.m. Feb. 13 observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign and one of its brake lights was out. The officer conducted a traffic stop and as he walked up to the vehicle, he could smell a strong odor of marijuana.

During the stop, the officer found the driver, Lizabeth Kuklis, 26, of 304 W. Bertsch St., to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, as well as a digital scale and pipe.

She was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, a stop sign violation and light requirements.
