Carbon man cited in Schuylkill

A Carbon County resident has been cited for scattering rubbish following an incident in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Scott Peterson of Summit Hill, was cited for placing a glass bottle on railroad right-of-way southwest of the intersection of Route 209 and Ridge Road, in Blythe Township.

Troopers said Peterson was observed committing the act about 7:40 p.m. on Saturday while they were investigating a private property crash.
