Two Lycoming County residents were injured in a crash that occurred at 7:50 a.m. Monday along Route 901 in Foster Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Willard J. Ramph Jr., 72, of Jersey Shore, was driving a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis eastbound when the vehicle left the road and traveled onto a grassy shoulder. The vehicle traveled about 150 feet before overturning onto the passenger side along an embankment where it came to rest.

Ramph and his passenger, Mary Ann Ramph, 60, same address, were taken to the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville for treatment of injuries. Troopers said Ramph was cited for the crash.
