Palmerton police log

Palmerton Police Department continues to investigate the following incidents:

Harassment: Criminal charges were filed against Samantha Elison, 18, of Palmerton, for simple assault, terroristic threats, and harassment. The incident occurred on Jan. 13 in the 600 block of Franklin Avenue.

Damage: A citation was issued to Matthew Bertolone, 25, of Rochester, New York, for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property. The violation occurred on Feb. 4, at Fourth Street and Columbia Avenue.

Other: Police also issued five citations for vehicle violations; three for traffic violations; and three for speeding.
