Lehighton woman facing charges

A Carbon County woman has been charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mahoning Township Police said that at 3:22 a.m. Sept. 12, police were dispatched to a retail theft at Walmart involving $358.18 in merchandise.

Loss prevention reported the woman involved, Katrina Neff, 35, of Lehighton, was accompanied by an infant child.

During the investigation, police seized drug paraphernalia.

Neff has been charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24.
