Palmerton police log

Palmerton Police Department continues to investigate the following incidents:

Possession of drug paraphernalia: Criminal charges were filed against Christopher Dutko, 29, of Palmerton, for possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, criminal use of communication facility, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred on March 16 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

Bad check: Criminal charges were filed against Rhonda David, 44, of Lehighton, for a bad check. The incident occurred on Jan. 1 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

DUI: Criminal charges were filed against Troy Kidd, 26, of Palmerton, for DUI, driving under suspension, careless driving, and unlawful activities. The incident occurred on Jan. 10 at Delaware Avenue and Third Street.

Criminal mischief: A 13-year-old Palmerton male and a 14-year-old Palmerton male were cited for criminal mischief. The violations occurred on Feb. 12 in the 600 block of Franklin Avenue.

Harassment: Raymond Smith II, 24, of Palmerton, was cited for harassment. The violation occurred on March 14 in the 400 block of Franklin Avenue.

Other: Police also issued eight citations for vehicle violations, eight for traffic violations and four for speeding.
